滋賀県では、「百人一首かるた行事」を近江神宮で行われるほど、古くからかるたに親しんできました。
他県から来た私は、教会でもかるた行事を取り入れてはどうだろうかと提案し、教会学校で聖書かるたとりを開催させていただきました。
普段教会に来ていないお友達も参加することが出来、楽しいひと時となりました。
来月は体育館でバレーボールをしたいと考えています。

In Shiga Prefecture, people have been familiar with karuta for a long time, to the extent that the “Hyakunin Isshu Karuta Event” is held at Omi Shrine.
Coming from another prefecture, I suggested that we should have a karuta event at our church, so we held a Bible Karuta-tori at our church school.
It was a fun time, and friends who don’t usually come to church were able to participate.
Next month, we are planning to play volleyball in the gym.
