梅雨の合間に

大雨が続き、各地の被害報道に心が痛みます。

主が適切な援助と、速やかな復旧を導いてくださるよう祈っています！

日曜日の午後、教会の隣家との間に設置してある『雪止めフェンス』の錆び取りと、ペンキ塗りをしました。

梅雨の合間に長老（晴れ男）と牧師（雨男）で共同作業です。感謝な事に、この日の午後だけは晴れて、作業も3時間ほどで順調に終わりました。

作業中に献堂当時のお話も聞けて、爽やかで楽しい時間でした。つくづく教会は信徒の皆さんの神様への奉仕に支えられ、イエス・キリストご自身が導いておられるところだと教えられました。

設備にメンテナンスが必要なように、人の心にもメンテナンスが必要ですね。

The heavy rains continue and the reports of damage in many areas are heartbreaking.
We are praying that the Lord will lead us to appropriate assistance and a speedy recovery!

On Sunday afternoon, we rusted and painted the snow fence between our church and the neighbor’s house.

The elders (sunny men) and the pastor (rainy men) worked together during the rainy season. Thankfully, it was sunny only in the afternoon, and we finished the work in about three hours.

It was refreshing and fun to hear stories about the time of the dedication during the work. We were taught that the church is a place where Jesus Christ Himself leads, supported by the congregation’s service to God.

Just as facilities need maintenance, so do people’s hearts.
