琵琶湖の深呼吸
It seems that there is not much snow in Japan this year. Nagahama is a heavy snowfall area, but in Kano, where our church is located, it has not snowed even once this season.
I’m a lazy person, so I haven’t even put on stateless tires on my car yet. Although it is comfortable to live without snow, it is not good for the natural cycle of the environment.
In Lake Biwa, a large amount of oxygenated snowmelt flows into the bottom of the lake in spring to preserve the water quality and maintain the ecosystem of the lake. This is called the “deep breathing of Lake Biwa. It’s a wonder of the natural circulation cycle created by God, the Creator.
Lake Biwa needs to breathe deeply, but breathing is also very important for humans.
When we feel anxious or stressed, our breathing becomes shallow. At such times, it is good to stop working and take a deep breath (abdominal breathing).
